Path to You

I do not wish to pass through you
like impudent light through a window-pane.

Nor to be refracted, and
scattered upon your crystal.
Only to lose myself in you,
as if in an ocean,
to nourish you, to warm you,
and to hide within your depths.

To intermingle with you forever, just as
deep-sea creatures do
in the bottomless love of the ocean—
a bond too deep for them
to swim to the surface for enticing and
mercifully scattered crumbs.

Út hozzád

Nem akarok úgy járni kelni rajtad
mint pofátlan fény az ablakon keresztül.

Sem megtörni, és
szerte szóródni kristályodon.
Csak beléd veszni,
mint egy óceánba,
táplálni, melegíteni téged
és elbújni mélységeidben.

Elvegyülni benned végleg, ahogy
a mélytengeri lények
az óceán feneketlen szeretetében
mely túl mély kötelék, 
hogy a felszínre úszanak csalogató és
könyörületesem bedobált falatokért.
