Agreements

Filtering through the veil of thoughts,
emotions illuminate 
the desk of my fate,
where I sign my eternal 
and temporary contracts
with the universe.
Analyzing the fine print,
searching intently, 
I scout the lines
of bowtie-wearing deception, 
adjusted into criteria,
before his cunning 
and clever hands
transform my commitments 
and sacrifices into cheap, plastic flowers within his top hat.

There is no time to hesitate…Our agreements are demanded by deadlines…

With the pen of trust,
I slowly form the
swirling lines of my name,
while beside me,
I sip the invigorating,
yet sobering and bitter-tasting
coffee of reality.

 The room is lit by the 
lamp of a free spirit,
but the shadows of taboos, 
dogmas, and conventions
fall upon the pile of bargains
awaiting my signature,
clouding my clarity.

And when there is a knock 
at the door…
I already know… 
Lord Karma has arrived…
​He holds me accountable, 
reprimands me for missed dates,
and sometimes, behind his back,
he clutches 
a bouquet of flowers for me.

Megállapodások

A gondolatok fátylán
 átszűrődő érzelmek bevilágítják
sorsom íróasztalát, 
ahol örök és ideiglenes 
szerződéseimet írom alá,
a világmindenséggel.
Az apróbetűs részeket elemezve, 
fürkészően, kutatom a 
csokornyakkendős szemfényvesztés 
kritériumokká igazított sorait,
mielőtt cseles és ügyes kezei közt 
cilinderjében vállalásaim, 
s áldozataim gagyi, 
műanyag virágokká alakítja.

Nincs idő habozni… 
Megállapodásainkat terminusok követelik…

A bizalom tollával csak lassan
megformálva hozom létre nevem 
kacskaringós vonalait,
miközben mellé a valóság,
élénkítő, ámde kijózanító, és
kesernyés zamatú kávéját szürcsölöm. 

A szobát a szabad szellem
lámpája világítja meg, 
de a tabuk, dogmák
konvenciók árnyékai 
a halomnyi aláírásra váró 
alkuimra vetődnek,
elhomályosítva tisztánlátásomat.

S amikor kopogtatnak az ajtón…
már tudom...
Karma nagyúr megérkezett…

Számon kér, megdorgál
a lekésett dátumokért,
s olykor virágcsokrot szorongat számomra, 
a háta mögött.
